In restoring this boat, it is my intention to re-rig it with a cambered Junk-Rig. Victor Winterthun has kindly done the calculations and drawn up the sail plan for me. The idea of using modern cambered junk rigs seems to have been developed mostly in Norway, in particular by Arne Kverneland in Stavanger, where it has been discovered to markedly improve windward performance, over other western junk rigs.
